A mini-forest of blackberry tufts

Over the years, a blackberry "mini-forest" forms over which a "fleece" of overgrown blackberry vines settles and forms a dense roof through which only the new shoots hit in spring. The blackberry tufts have approx. 30 cm distance and the "tile roof" lays down in approx. 50 cm height above. The blackberries are very dominant, except the trees, nothing grows there. To my amazement, I couldn't observe any fauna in the lower, actually very protected area of this "mini-forest," but you would have to verify that with the camera in a similar place.
