Yesterday I'm from a ripple hunting spider (ca. 5cm) has been bitten. She had put herself in wait under the edge of the olive box. I must have afflicted her with my arm when carrying the box away. Anyway, she bit me and dropped me. The defensive bite is noticeable but significantly weaker than a brake sting. Apparently, the spider does not use poison at the defensive bite. It was just a little redness (about 4mm), which I disinfected, but there was no effect. After the spider had dropped, I could only make it with difficulty and take pictures because it is so well camouflaged. She remained motionless and did not run away until after some time.
