The olives shrink in drought, especially at exposed locations in younger trees, as these do not yet have as deep roots as over 100 year old trees. This has no negative influence on the olive oil. But now the rain is coming, which is good for the trees, since they are already rolling in the leaves but bad for us, as we of course like to harvest sunshine.
